Horseshoes for Halloween

Social media is a funny thing - we often wonder what will get noticed, what will people like to see. We've always tried to share the story of how and why we do what we do -  behind the scenes of our little blacksmithing set up, hand forging designer lighting a homeware just for you.

Last week Dan gathered up some of the old horseshoes he collects as part of his 'other life' as a farrier. Cleaning them up, the idea was to create a 'pumpkin' for his daughter for Halloween. Little did we know when they were posted to our Instagram page (@nigel_tyas_ironwork) we'd be inundated with requests for more. 

Having sent a few out to regular customers we also did a giveaway to our facebook and instagram followers.
